it is a difficult stuff to make him talk because i could feel that he will only look at me from far. when come near to him, he will just pretend he didnt see me.

It's definitely OK to make the first move, but since you don't really know him, maybe just try to establish a friendship first. Find some excuse to talk to him and see if you can get a conversation going. Do the two of you have any common interests or mutual friends? Do you have any classes together? If you can get him talking, then you can feel him out to see if there's any interest on his part before you go as far as asking him out. My guy friends always tell me they love it when a girl makes the first move because it takes the pressure off of them. But to protect yourself from possible rejection or embarrassment, approach him in a friendly way first. If he's responsive to that, maybe he'd be open to a date.

make the move girl!! sounds like the guy is shy to me. but alot of guys like a woman that will initiate things sometimes. Its a turn on for me. I mean who really likes being the one that initiates everything all the time?
