Alive.

Alive forever.
The authorities would have been only too happy to point out the tomb and correct the disciples error when they began to proclaim that Jesus had risen from the dead. Obviously the disciples had no motive to steal the body and then die for a lie, and certainly the Jewish authorities wouldn't have removed the body.

Here are only a few of the peple who saw Jesus after his resurrection:
*Mary Magdalene in John 20:10-18
*the other women in Matthew 28:8-10
*Cleopas and another disciple in Luke 24:13-32
*To 11 disciples and others in Luke 24:33-49
*To 10 apostles and others (Thomas absent) in John 20:19-23
*To Thomas and other apostles in John 20:26-30
*To seven apostles in John 21:1-14
*The Apostles before his Ascension in Luke 24 and Acts 1.
*To more than 500 people in 1 Corinthians 15:5-8.

Peter says "A day with the Lord is a thousand years and a thousand years but a day".
Jesus was resurrected only 2 days ago.He is alive and well and waiting for "fullness of the Gentiles"(when the right amount of gentiles become Christians ,then He will return)and then The sky will split and like lightning bursts from one side to the other He will return and vanquish His enemies(Matthew 24,Rev. 19)

He is the resurrected Savior and will be alive forevermore. Had he remained dead Christianity would not exist.

It is continuous and on going as long as there is sin in the world. The denial is on going, the persecution is on going. He is seated at the right hand of the father alive but the deep sorrow for the human person which wounds itself he still feels.

Jesus is more alive than those who consider themselves alive today. He is beyond death in a way in which the living are not.

Jesus was never dead, just went from the physical back to the spirit, the same as you will at the appointed time. All were created to live forever, the physical life is just a microscopic period where you lived on the earth. Jesus took the form of man to provide a way for you to live forever WITH HIM.
