I'm kinda enduring an awkward situation at work. One of my closest guy friends works at the same place as I do and I began to develop feelings for him though he has a gf. I told him I liked him and I felt it was best that we ignore each other for awhile so I can get over him. Anyway he asked me if I wanted to hook up with him, i said i did, but then he said i should do it with another guy I like. Anyway during all of this, I got mad at him for jerking my feelings around and I ended up calling him a dog, but then I apologized. The thing is I said all of this via text. The next day I wrote him a letter saying how sorry I was for how I acted, and that it was better that we treat each other as professionals since he has a gf and I need to move on. He ignored me and we've been ignoring each other for the past 3 weeks and now it is awkward and i miss talking to him sometimes. Yesterday, I got a b-day card from some of my coworkers. He wrote Happy Birthday, but didn't sign his name.

leave him alone if he has a girl friend!!!. just keep it as professional co-workers relationship. don't consider it as anything more or you will get hurt.

Girl, you better just leave him alone. he asked you to hook whilst he has a girlfriend??? Sounds like a real loser. He can't be trusted. And YOU shouldn't be pursuing a guy who is attached. It's only natural to feel physically attracted to people but I think it's best you guys give eachother some space before you begin the friendship again. And move on. He doesnt sound worthy of your friendship anyway!

(oh and p.s. he is a dog!)

You should not have apologized and he likely lost respect for you for doing so because he was wrong to ask to hook up when he has a girlfriend, then try to get you to go off with another guy!

You need to move on as he did only toy with your feelings and you will only end up getting hurt more to have him in your life until/if he ends it with his girlfriend and is free.

Leave this guy alone and get on with finding someone who is available....ask yourself this: If you were in a relationship and found your bf was the object of another woman's desire, how do you think that would affect you, especially if he was responding to her?
You need to move on....don't go stealing someone else's lover and causing them pain.

looks like the best thing to do is just go on with your work and if you pass him you and offer a friendly good morning and just keep walking. you can find someone who isnt taken there is alot of them out there. dont waste your heart on someone who isnt for you. i am sorry this happened to you i know it hurts.
