Yeah it is possible to dye from plum to chocolate brown as you are going darker than plum, altough there may be slight red tone showing through

hiya, im always changing my hair colour and ive gone from red to brown loads but you will need to die it every 6 weeks or so at first cos it will fade abit cos red is the hardest colour to get rid of. i would recommend using laboritore garnier( i have prob spelt that a bit wrong ha ha) and go for shade cappachino which is a chocolately brown colour and is lovely and not to dark or they do a shade called chocolate brown aswell, it is permanent which is what you want cos a semi would wash out in no time. good luck hun xx

You have to wait for the plum to fade as much as possible first ,then go to hairdressers they will probabley bleach it all first then put a chocolate colour on.Ask hairdresser first but that is what i would do.Tint can't lift tint.
Hope this helps.

yeah u can dye it from plum to chocolate, just use a permanent dye, and that should cover no problem, and use shampoo n conditioner for colour treated hair or for brunette hair to make ur colour last longer and shine.

There are many good products but you'll probably need to use a permanent dye, the semi permanent ones fade out.
