I am 46, 6'2", 160 pounds, very athletic, not bald, salt and pepper grey, blue eyes. I am a member of Mensa, the national high IQ society, and I work as a senior computer programmer. I'm single.
What would a girl 18 to 22 years old probably think if me? Am I mature and attractive or an ugly old man?

Honestly, I think it depends on how much money you have. Not that girls interested in you would be golddiggers, just that the girls that would be attracted to you for security mostly - the "fatherly" part of you. If you are protective and nurturing - and can also provide a safe and stable lifestyle - I think there will be girls interested in you. The older man/younger woman thing has been around forever. You will have no problems attracting a young hottie. Good luck!

Honestly, that would definitely depend upon the individual person. Some people, find older members of the opposite sex very attractive, some however, have other tastes. Some people like the stability, maturity, and overall demeanor of an older partner better. The indivdual is the only one who can make that choice.

She might unfortunately think of you as a nerd. However, it depends on the type of college age girl you are going for. If you are looking for the type of girl off of Girls Gone Wild she might not give you a second glance and I would tell you to turn in the other dirction as well, but if you are looking for someone that is interested in the same things as you, who is smart and intellectual, she will be hard to find, but chances are she will not turn you down.

You sound wonderful, and if you are as intelligent as you say, why would you even want an 18-22 year old?
Don't you want a WOMAN, someone who can match your intelligence and experience. I am not bad mouthing young women, they too will one day be more wise and experienced.
Check out women in you own age group.

A small percentage of them might go for you. They'd do it for the following reasons: 1. Money, comfort, stability. 2. Daddy Complex.
If I were an optimist, I'd say there might be one out there who might actually fall in love with you for you and your big fat brains. But I'm a realist, so I'll say leave the little girls alone.

Well it all depends on what her attraction-type is. When I was in college (I'm 25 now) I was completely in love (lust) with one of my professors who was seriously like 50+. There was just something about him.
Sigh.
