Not being an art critic, it looks like she has a extremely good grasp on the fundamentals, and her writing is extremely well thought out (wonder if it's edited by an adult?).
On the other hand, while technically proficient, her art seems to be lacking in emotion or "fire", but that may come with age and life experiences.

And she's ultra religious and from an Atheist household. If it wasn't on CNN I'd treat it with a grain a salt, but this whole thing was impressive.

Actually, her work was criticized by art critics. Sure, she's got some control, but no imagination - it's all the same drivel over and over. They hope she'll mature in her work as she gets older.
Oh, I assumed it was the same CNN story someone posted last week. If not, disregard. I can't watch videos on this computer.
