How long ago did you break up? If its recently, you have to go through that period where you just wallow in it, listen to songs about breakups, lie around feeling sorry for yourself. If its longer than a month ago, you have to get out there, spend time with friends...more time spent having fun is less time to think about what you lost....and if you get out there more, another girl will come along and suddenly, your ex will be the alst thing on your mind

Life is a theater - invite your audience carefully. Not everyone is suited to have a front row seat in your life. There are some people in your life that need to be loved from a distance. It's amazing what you can accomplish when you let go, or at least minimize your time with draining, negative, incompatible, not-going-anywhere relationships, friendships, or fellowships! Observe the relationships around you. Pay attention to which ones lift and which ones lean? Which ones encourage and which ones discourage? Which ones are on a path of growth uphill and which ones are going downhill?
The more you seek God and the things of God - the more you seek quality, the more you seek not just the hand of God but the face of God - the more you seek things honorable - the more you seek growth, peace of mind, love and truth around you, the easier it will become for you to decide who gets to sit in the FRONT ROW and who should be moved to the balcony of your life.

hmmm..moving on is really the most difficult part. Here are the things I could suggest: 1.) Ditch all her memoirs. Keep away all the things which can make you remember her. (photos, her shirt, something she gave you..) 2) Keep a list of things you hate about her or the painful things she did to you and tack it beside your bed. 3.) Avoid listening to songs whch can make you remember your happy moments. 4) Listen to Avril Lavigne's My Happy Ending 5) Spend more time with friends. 6.) Avoid watching romance films for a while. 7.)STOP THINKING ABOUT HER. 8) Pamper yourself. 9.)Eat chocolates to cheer you up. 10) Avoid the places where you might bump with her. 11) Resist the urge to call her.

First of all "out of sight, out of mind." Get rid of old pics and things of that nature. Not saying throw them out but put them away for a while. Get out with friends and mingle. You will learn what it feels like to be single.

Keep yourself busy. Do not dwell on the past. Get rid of anything you have of hers. When I broke up with my boyfriend of 4 years I had so many things that he gave me etc. It made it SO hard.. But they were very precious to me.. Its really hard.. Trust me.. I know.. Just try dating.. you don't have to marry anyone.. Just date, and have fun.. You can never have too many friends.. :)

Only time..... and try to go out and have fun and do things to keep your mind off of her...don't sit around and listen to sad love songs all day.
