I'm creating a collage of useless technology that eats up electricity and so far I have an iron and a blow dryer. PLEASE HELP! thank you =D

The Tesla coil was the original wireless telegraph and is so inefficient that it arcs out bolts of man made lightning while it is in use. This Technology became useless with the invention of the AM radio transmitter / receiver which quite frankly could also fit nicely into your collection.
Another one would be the vacuum valve tube, it was replaced with the transistor.
Speaking of vacuum tube, the old energy sucking vacuum picture tube television set has been replaced by the much more efficient LCD and plasma TV and monitors, although one could argue that all three are useless colossal wastes of useful time.

The electric range and electric hot water heater are the most wastful appliances ever invented. Propane or natural gas appliances in their place cost less than one fourth to operate, and use far less fossile fuel to produce than fossil fuel and coal burning generating plants. Can I have your blow dryer? Good for starting the wood stove...

ok first of all an iron is usefull...
second, blowdryers are very usefull...

how about the technolegy that reads your minds... that didnt stop the 100 million murders that happened last year and it didnt convict anyone who paid their lawyer..
oh and also the satalite that cant read you dna and cant find any missing people or any fugitives.

No. I in many cases attempt to be sure what the challenge will be. I do yell on the television so that's type of an same component. A reaction won't be able to be gotten on the television or an equipment.
