I have a question regarding Internet Explorer 6. I am running Win2k and want to install IE6. I have the cd for IE6 so I installed it. After installing it, I am unable to install patches/updates from Microsoft. It says that the patches for IE6 are not for the version of IE6 I am running. Note that I am running IE6.00.2600.0000. After searching for this version online I noticed that this particular version of IE6 is for WindowsXP and NOT for Win2k. Is this really the case? And, if so, is there a version of IE6 for Win2k Service Pack 4? And, if so, what is it cause I can't find it for the life of me! Thanks! :)

Go here:
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/ie6/downloads/critical/ie6sp1/default.mspx
When you go to the Download link, it should automatically detect that you are running Win2K. You should uninstall the current version of IE6 from your computer first.

Even better, download Firefox
