I have heard others express a fear of snow (or ice) in regard to going out. They are not all based on slipping and falling though. A lot of people are afraid to drive on snow or ice, fearing loss of control of their car. Others do not like being "cold" as it triggers a panic response for them.
You could try to overcome this fear by making sure walkways are safely cleaned of snow and ice and treated so they will not refreeze and/or keeping your vehicle in a garage or covered area. Another possible way would be to make sure you have suitable footwear for ice and snow. MG

Well yes and no.
I dont think i can call it a fear or snow exactly cos i am not afriad of snow touching me, or falling on me, but i DO have a fear of going out when it snows, because i am afraid of falling. The main thing is i live up a steep hill and i also have a baby who is still in her buggy, so sometimes i picture me slipping onthe snow, falling, losing grip of the buggy and my daughter careering headfirst into a tree or worse, into the main road. I think its highly possible.

I have had alot of fears in my lifetime due to an anxiety disorder but snow never made it to my list. I do hate it though because it's cold and wet...

My Dad says, 'Overtaking articulated vehicles. I was on the M8 and a foreign truck swerved sharply as I was overtaking it and I had to brake really sharply. Gave me a scare'.

It doesn't snow where I live, and I've never seen snow in my life. So, I have no idea.
