I've read that it't more used for oily skin, yet obviously it's very soothing for all types.
[and what's that light grit that is in aloe vera when it dries btw? have noticed this in any bottle I've bought]

Yes it's a good moisturizer and the gritty stuff is part of the fiber in the plant.

I think coco butter is best for dry skin. Its also good for scars, stretch marks, and wrinkles. Its what alot of stars use as a night cream to keep themselves looking young and its about 3 dollars for a big tub that will last a LONG TIME.
