Absolutely!
Some people are naturally gifted and have a natural intelligence, but without effort and a desire to learn, this will not take them far. I have worked in education for many years. I have worked in schools for the gifted and watched them fail through lack of effort and I have seen kids from deprived backgrounds with huge barriers to their learning go on to do great things.
There is no substitute for effort and a desire to learn!

Yes, I think so. To be successful means that someone knows a great deal about something, whether it be business or a sport or psychology...the things that successful people learn about may not be directly related to what they are known for, but the key is that they had the drive to learn.

R.Kelly is not learned but he is a legend in R & B music he is also a story teller....
and some actors are not that much educated and they are successfull ...
many guys are drug dealers ,drug lords,thieves ,robbers but this are bad guys and harfull to the society.
