Don't other groups assimilate pretty well? I just don't hear of so many assimilation problems with religious bodies except for Muslims. Am I wrong?

So because a woman in the US chooses to cover herself instead of walking around half naked, she's not assimilating? Are you telling me you've never seen a muslim woman buying toys for her children, clothing, going to fast food restaurants, going for groceries, or drivnig a car in the US? You're kidding me, right? Please tell me you don't ignore what you see around you.

I've heard some say Hindu's don't, but I really don't know.

Buddhist assimilate better than most any religion. In fact, many sects it's possible to be Christian and Buddhist or Jewish and Buddhist, atheist and Buddhist, or anything and Buddhist, so long as the 'other' religion doesn't prohibit meditation.

I've known many people who've converted to Islam, so I wouldn't say Muslims won't assimilate.

You can convert to Judaism, but you're never really accepted by most Jews (this was told to be my an ex-gf who was Jewish).
