Why do people take their cell phones in public bathrooms to talk and then give you dirty looks when you come out of the stall after flushing? This happens to me at work a lot and I just want to know why. Do they expect you to leave without flushing? Don't they realize that most people flush after using the toilet?

People who use their cell phones in bathroom stalls are inconsiderate clueless people. I mean who wants their bathroom noises broadcast over a stranger's telephone. Why don't they just take their call in a hallway, or outside. I think you should start making really loud funny noises next time you're in the bathroom with a cell phone caller. You know like loud grunts, sighs, exclamations of how that's going to smell, etc. Perhaps that will get them off the telephone.

Lol, it is a little uncomfortable. But what's even worse is when (especially for men) your cell phone goes off while you are in the middle of a release... It happened to me at a urinal, and the bloke next to me said, "Amazing... a urinal that plays music when you pee in it... We can make millions!" btw, this was also uncomfortable, because it doesn't matter if it is your best friend, your father, your son or your gay lover; men's bathroom conversations should be no more than 5 syllables total...

I think it is very rude to talk to someone on the phone in the restroom. I always give an extra couple of flushes and make as much noise as possible.

Ok - now that's funny. You're so right - they have the problem - not the person that flushes the public toilet LOL

And just think they open the door, open the phone, pull their panties down, all the while having one of their hands next to their mouth.I will not answer a phone in the restroom, I just call them back---TOO NASTY,and they do not want to hear you flush, go figure.....

Wow. It's a sad, sad world we live in when we must resort to mobile-phone conversations IN THE BATHROOM! I agree with you completely.

To be honest, they probably give you an annoyed look because they don't want the person their talking to to know they're in a bathroom...
