If someone is truly trying to change for the better but they have done so many bad things in the past, will people believe them, that they have really changed? I need to stop being such a bad girl but I don't know how.

First of all, who are you trying to change for? Yourself or other people. If its for other people then you can forget it, Its more than likely not going to happen. Yeah you will need other ppl who want you to change also so they can help you and tell you what your doing is wrong. Anyone can change but wheather other people believe it or not doesnt matter. If you really truly change... people will notice. Goodluck-

It is like the boy who cried wolf. If you are all the time saying you are trying to change and those around you do not see this change; no they will not believe you. Even the slightest change is often over looked.
My ex. is a good example. He constantly would and still does say he has/will change, yet, he still does/says all the same things that His daughters and I dislike. Promises after promises and they have gotten to the point where they prefer not to see him all the time.
If you truly want to change you will. All you have to do is stop doing that which needs change. You will falter, ant that is OK. Just pick yourself back up and keep going. Keeping in mind that what's up ahead will bring you to be a better person.

Well, first off, you should show them that you have really changed. For example, if you are a bully before, then try talking to the people that you've bullied and apologize. Although it's hard to change, people can really change. In fact change is the one thing that is permanent in our world.

Initially people won't believe you because all they've got to base their judgment on is your past actions. Likewise, set a good example consistently and people will begin to see that you've changed. And if they won't come around, then they're not worth it.

if you are really trying to change and working on it from your heart and soul people are going to see this. and if it is not working for you maybe the problem is that you have a bad unfluence over you like a friend or anyone, if so try to enhance your environment so it will help you through the process.
Good luck.
