Yes, religion is changeable. Christianity, however, is not. When a person accepts the free gift of salvation through Christ Jesus, they become a new person - they are changed. God holds this person in His hands - and no one can remove them from His hands - including oneself. There are some who say they were Christian, but now follow a different faith or no faith at all. I cannot claim to know their hearts, but I can tell you that if they were truly Christian, they will eventually reconcile - God never leaves a work unfinished.

Yes it is possible for anyone from any religion to become a Catholic. The two requirements are that the person take instructions (any priest will be able to tell the person how to go about this), and that the person accept the teachings of the Catholic Church. If the person has already been baptized in another Christian church, and if that baptism meets with the Catholic Church's requirements, then the person is welcomed into the full body of the Church, and will eligible for the other sacraments.
It makes no difference what religion a person has been before--or even if that person had no religion--what matters is that the conversion to the Catholic Church be viewed as genuine and sincere.

Yes. Ones beliefs change throughout life. As doe's ones opinions and tastes on all kinds of things, including religion and spirituality. But I urge you sir to think long and hard before "becoming" a catholic. It is fact that it is the corrupt organization in the world. Based on bigotry and hatred. You might want to take a closer, deeper look into your self. And there, I am quite sure, you will find the path to true enlightenment. Good luck on your quest

Yes, if you are not truly grounded in your own faith being introduced to a new faith can sway you, or if you love some one and their faith states that both of you have to be of the same religion. If that being the case, then you are compromising for flesh and not your faith. A good example is men who are incarcerated. No matter what their faith was before inceration, there a a lot of them that convert to muslim (if not truly grounded in their own faith).

Of course. It's called RCIA, Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults.
I've changed religions more times than I have fingers, and I bet I'm not done yet.

Of course. You can believe whatever you want to believe. If you decide you want to be Catholic and two years later you want to be Muslim. That's up to you. Nobody can tell you what to believe, especially not a religion. It's your freedom.
