Sounds like he may be having seizures. Either that or he is hurt in some manner. I'd recommend seeing the vet PRONTO!

I have a 10 month Chi pup. Every so often, for a couple of hours, he shivers, refuses food or water ( I put Nutrical on his nose so he he has some nutrition) occasionally yelps for no reason and licks his lips. I took him to the vet, and she said that it sounded like acid reflux with gas pains. It made sense as nothing else hurts him.She did ask if he lost his balance or looked glazed. He doesn't.
It sounds like your pup is having seizures because he is losing his balance. Take him to the vet, and he will need to be on meds. Good luck.

Question: What on earth are you doing on the internet right now?
If that was my dog i would have him at the vet right now. I wouldnt be searching for answers on Yahoo. No answers anyone can give you here will make your dog better. Only taking him to the vet will. Do you have children? If you did and they were doing the same would you be asking on Yahoo what about what could be wrong?
