here's what my book says goes with red (depending on what kind of red you have.. i'll put the red colour in brackets):

~ gold (yellow), light orange, tobacco and (clear red)
~ (tomato), tobacco, brick and dusty pink
~ (raspberry), hot pink, fuschia and violet
~ (blue red), shocking pink, bright orange and plum (love this one!)
~ watermelon (brigt orange), (clear red), lemon and white
~ (rust), milk chocolate, pink burgundy and pale orange (peach)

hope you like my suggestions! have a great wedding :) just please please please do not have silver and black with the red! arrrgh! its the worst thing ever.. sorry to people who had that.. this is my opinion lol x

Red, black, champagne, green... go to a store that sells bridesmaid dresses and check out the different colors. Also consider what would look good on your bridesmaids.

Any solid color will look great. I would stay away from anything with red in it: red, pink, purple, orange. Stick with contrasting colors like blue, green, yellow. Buttercream is a very nice color and will look great with red roses. You can also go with a grey or brown. I did chocolate brown for my wedding, and the dresses looked lovely. If you go to a scrapbooking store, they sell color wheels which tell you what colors compliment and contrast other colors. Check out red and see what colors you like with it. Sounds beautiful!

Go with skin tones! I was part of such a rainbow of a group of bridesmaids... and this sea green worked very nicely.
But not with red roses...
skin tone is SO important.

When I went to my brother in laws wedding, his wife had the brides maid wear a beautiful chocolate brown. Just stunning. Although champagne is beautiful too. Good luck and Congrats!

champagne colored would be georgeous, especially with deeper colored red roses, or you could go super cliche and overdone and do black, with the red, but Ive seen that a million times and its gotten pretty boring
