Question about my hair for a dance!?

Well i am going to this dance (which is a formal thing) that is for 21 or older, and i have a question about how to do my hair! I want to tie a ribbon in my hair like a hairband! I bought the ribbon from a craft store, but the ribbon will not stay in my hair! It keeps sliding out of the place i want it to stay! Is there any ideas how i can keep the ribbon in place for the whole night?

I'm assuming you're wearing your hair down for this, so try pinning the ribbon in place with bobby pins, behind your ears and underneath your hair at the back of your neck. Or you could also curl your hair and then tie the ribbon around your head, with some curls in front of it around your face, and some curls behind it, and then pin it in place and spray your whole head. That might work better, the curls will help hold it in place.

This is why I advocate wearing your hair as you always wear it for special occassions. That way you can actually enjoy yourself rather than constantly thinking, "Is my hair okay?"

If you are willing, use a tiny bit of double-sided tape to tack the ribbon in a few places directly to your hair. Before you do that however, call a few salons to see if they can help you.

well ribions dont work for pepole that have long hair if you have long hair you should try to get a pro to curl your hair

it's really simple just pin up ur hair using hair pins......in such a way that ur hair look stylish.
