For my sister's 14th birthday, I believe it was 14, maybe 15th. Her friends decided that they would find a guy to take her virginity away, as their gift to her. How moronic is that?! Anyway, She was with this guy, and my sister is fairly small. So, She had sex with him. I got a call saying that my sister was hemorrhaging at the hospital, and lost 4 pints of blood or something crazy like that. She told me a few years later that she heard it was normal to bleed so she just went in the shower, but it wouldn't stop. She collapsed in the bathroom. She was at the hospital, practically bleeding to death. She wouldn't tell them what happened. So rumors started to fly that she must of stuck something up there for that damage to happen. What happen was, her "passage" way wasn't normal in shape. So, The guy completely tore her womb apart, she had to get it all sewn back together. Now, she shouldn't carry a baby. Doctors say her womb isn't strong enough, and they don't recommend it. Yet, She's 7 months pregnant now, extremely high risk pregnancy. I guess that's why they prefer someone to get a pap test and such before you have sex to determine if everything is okay. So, It does happen, I doubt it's normal, yet again everyone has different experiences with everything. I think it's best to tell your mom. You never know, maybe she had a similar experience. I doubt she'd be angry, my mom wasn't angry at my sister. She was just so worried, and afraid.
As for the problem with the boyfriend, try to forget about it for a while. Just make sure you're healed and take care of yourself. If he's a decent guy then he won't just abandon you, but it does happen. That's life. So, Good luck in the future, and take care of yourself.

No that does not sound normal, but didn't the doctor tell you if it was or not or if it will happen again. Maybe you were just on your period I don't know. I did not even know a minor could be released from the hospital without a parent signature. If the doctor told you everything is all right don't stress about it, if your boyfriend does not call you back or ignores you think of it as a lesson learned and move on knowing that you can take your knocks like a big girl.

So you were in the hospital and your mom didn't know? Sorry, a little off topic there but a lot of girls bleed their first time, and it's even worse if you've never used a tampon. I don't think he's leaving you, you probably just scared him a lot when you started bleeding that much because that hasn't happened to him before I'm sure. You guys just need to sit down and have a serious talk about him and his ideas about your relationship and where it's going. And, while it sucks to be dumped after sex, that's where it might lead, so be prepared for that.

What did your doctors say? Don't worry about the boyfriend. Take care of yourself. If he would dump you, he isn't worth having anyway. This is NOT normal. How many other girls do you hear about that have to go to the hospital after their first time??? Get the medical help you need. I don't know your mom, but I would want to know if it was my daughter. Give your mom a chance to be there for you.

I think you need to tell your mum and she can help you go to see a doc or something. What did the docs in ER tell you? This is not normal to pass that amount of blood at any time it may be only a coincidence that it was after sex. Go see your mum and then a doc.

I have troubles beleiving this question, wouldn't the hosiptal have told you what was wrong?, and didn't your mother wonder why you were at the hospital for two days?
If you are serious, of course that's not normal!!!! You should only lose a little blood.

This CAN'T be a serious question. Not only is it totally insane that there would have been that much blood, but if you are a minor and were admitted to the hospital your parents would have been called.

You helped your BF, with a Rape! Even if you allowed him to. And you don't know what you're doing. You were a Virgin. He wasn't. How "Used" do you wanna feel? To keep this from happening again. Talk to yur Parents. Let them know that you did make a mistake. And let them tell you how to be at 16. They can be our Best Friends. This Guy was with someone else. He wasn't waiting for you. Give yourself a little respect.

its up to you if you want to tell your mom. as for your bf, he's probably just scared of the whole thing. if you are going to stay together, you have to make sure he's more careful next time you guys want to have sex. have LOTS of foreplay and just be calm, if you're stressed and tense its going to hurt more. get lube. maybe let him use his fingers for a little while just until you feel like you're ready, but just go slow and if at anytime it hurts, tell him. if he loves you he wouldnt want to hurt you
