The catholic religion like many others had origins in Babylon, where most of stuff like prayer beads, and worshiping statues, and worship women and their child begins. You only have to do a little research.
So first, the bible says the dead are conscious of nothing at all, and also their thoughts do perish, this means when a person dies they do not exist. This makes sense because at a future date, God will judge the people and when those that are wicked are destroyed, there will an thing called the resurrection.
second, asking for forgiveness is not merely just a quick prayer, it is an heart felt petition to ask for forgiveness, and to have Gods favor. Because people do die, and not go to a place of suffering, and we don't have to worry about being haunted by ghosts, God will resurrect persons he has chosen to live again.
God will fulfill his original purpose and have people live on the earth, and be happy, and worship him acceptable.

Peace!
Jesus Christ instituted the Sacrament of Reconciliation when he breathed on his apostles who possessed the fullness of the priesthood and said, 'Receive the Holy Spirit. If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven; if you retain the sins of any, they are retained' (John 20,22). So you see, it is not the prayer to Mary that absolves the person of his sin. It is the authority of the priest to forgive sins. This authority continues to this day just like the Sacrament of Baptism and Matrimony.
You are ignoring the divine origin of the Catholic Church by making such statements. You are also ignoring the promise of Jesus to be with the Church he founded till the end of the age.

There is only one mediator between God and us and that Jesus- all the hail Marys in the world will not save you, because Mary was a person just like you and I- Jesus was the perfect lamb of God that takes away the sins of the world. How can you say that God is unforgiving? He sent His Son into the world to die a cruel death so we can be saved and live forever in heaven with Him. Where in the Bible does it say, "say 3 hail Marys". We are not to worship Mary. We are to worship only the LORD. HE DESIRES THAT ALL MEN COME TO THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE TRUTH AND TO REPENT AND BE SAVED THROUGH JESUS.
"There is no other name on which we can be saved".

I have more than one brain cell and I use them and I do not believe any of the tosh that YOU have come up with.
Praying to Mary and asking her to pray for you is just one type of pennance. Pennance is an action that gets us back on the path towards God. Sometimes this is as simple as rejoining yourself with the communion of saint by asking Mary to pray for us (a Hail Mary). Other times, the pennance may be some sort of charitable act.

When you confess, it is for your benefit, to lift the weight of the sin from yourself. The priest listens and gives you absolution. This is the reaffirmation that Christ has paid for our sins. The Hail Mary's and other prayers or acts of penance are for our benefit, they are acts of contrition.

You commit the worst sin
Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of death.
HOW CAN YOU SAY GOD HAS A MOTHER! WHAT BLASPHEMY!? YOU SAY GOD DIED?!
God will never forgive this blasphemy on the Day of Judgment

There are not enough Our Fathers or Hail Marys in the universe to cover that kind of idiocy.
Did you sleep through catechism and Sunday School or are you just brain dead?

From what I understand ELDERS of the *church abode* have the authority to say the words, * you're forgiven*.... yet that authority comes with the help of Jesus, no longer of themselves..... and easily to make it sparkling right here, Paul become no longer a clergyman !! So declaring some one had/is to be a clergyman to forgive is shot out of the water with that !!! The OT priest were in reality *brokers* of God.... Ordained right now by technique of God..... i imagine all those verses are placed into play because of one reason : we are to forgive one yet another for wrongs, no longer merely adverse to God yet those wrongs dedicated adverse to at least one yet another..... we are to UP raise one yet another,non- forgiveness does no longer attempt this !! Jesus is THE *intense priest*..... Peter become no longer a clergyman.... not one of the apostles were priest....... The NT does no longer aspect out all of us being a *priest*...... elders, deacons, instructors, preachers, and so on..... yet no longer priest, or a minimum of that i'll locate....... ambassador does no longer mean *priest* contained in the purest type it meant or ability contained in the OT...... there's a wide huge difference..... i'm no longer effective it even comes close to to meaning *priest*..... Ambassador merely ability representative..... *party* of....... yet that still contains us ALL who're believers...i imagine the point is to *repent* , get all of it out, enable it bypass, and get in direction of God.... bypass in peace... God bless *edit*, were given interrupted with my answer : Umm NOPE, heaven heavily isn't empty in accordance to protestants, the position do you get that from ??? i imagine Jesus took care of the challenge , do not you ?? Why did He die on the flow if no longer to make effective that our sins are forgiven ?? *sigh*, besides..... i am going to keep on with what i recognize to be reality.... I confess to God.... If different want to admit to priest, and so on... then so be it..... no longer some thing incorrect with that i wager......

Three Hail Marys must be universal because that is what I always got for contrition.
