They say it never rained before the flood but I was just wondering if lightning existed before the flood.

I know the two are for the most part unrelated but since I don't have the Holy Spirit I don't know the answer to this question.

I am just taking a guess, but I imagine there was electrical activity before the flood/Ice age.

I would think that no matter what they say it certaintly rained before the flood and so there would have been lightning too.

There are some things that you shouldn't have to be told. If they had farm animals, then they had to have feed, plants need water, to get water on crops you need rain, if you have rain you will occasionally get lightening because of climate conditions.
