You may also be able to get it online. I know you can in the State of Iowa, I'm sure other states post public info online. I'd start with your state's website and go from there.

Court cases are public record. Go to the court where the trial was held and aske to see them. If they won't let you tell them you'd like to request the trial records under your states Freedom of Information Act

make an open records request with the court. this is provided under the FIA (freedom of information act).

FIA. request it at the court house. if they do charge you to look at them, it shouldn't be more that 5 dollars.
