first things first, I'm ok with girls proposing if the guy is the type to be ok wiht it.....make sure you know if he will like it or not. My fiance is a little more old fashioned and told me pretty early on that he would do the askin and I better not try it! Make sure first that he won't have this mind-set. Also, make sure your not just rushin it a little, do you think that he might propose and your just tired of waiting? Maybe a little impatient? Sit back and think about it and if you think maybe so then wait a little more....but then I would say that to a guy too! All in all, make sure you have your ducks in a row and if they are linin up for you doin the asking, then go for it! good luck!

Some men would love this, and if you are sure your b/f is likely to say yes then make him breakfast in bed and propose. My friend proposed to her b/f and he did accept, although he did admit afterwards that he was sad he would not get the chance to do the dream proposal he had always imagined doing.

Do NOT propose to him ... the reason to wait is that a man will let you know when he is ready to take on the responsibility of being your husband... if you take this away from him, you will be sorry .... not only that, you will make more mistakes of this kind..... so learn now to be patient and you will not regret it ....forbearance, patience, love and respect are qualitites that a woman must have for her man ....

I'm old fashioned but I say wait for him to ask you. Its kind of like a mans right of passage or something if hes traditional it might freak him out. My hubby proposed to me and it was the greatest feeling ever. However ultimately it is your choice so do what feels right to you.

There is nothing wrong woth the woman proposing, but remember that he may be an old fashioned man and wants to do it himself. Sound him out first, drop some hints that you are thinking about marriage and see what he says.

If you love him then why the delay propose to him as soon as possible before some smart girls will take him away from you.I suggest that you do that when both of you are alone and not after sex.

I'm old fashioned so I would wait for him to propose. But if you are sure he'll say yes, make sure it's something you'll both happily remember for years to come.

They say that a man who asks a woman to marry him is pretty sure that she is going to say yes. This is because he has in a round about way found out her attitude towards, their relationship, marriage and future.
Depending on the relationship some couples may have a conversation about getting married and then the man decides over the coming months how he will propose.
If you decide to be the one to do the asking then you have to do your research. What is is his attidtude towards your relationship, why do you feel that you have to ask, how does he feel about marriage and are your sure that he is going to say yes?
