Cannot find a single warning label on these 3 shampoos about mixing. Have created 4 different mixes. One is coagulating, the other is separating. Another looks and acts just fine. Another changed color and smells strange. No explosion. Washing my hands with each. Only one seems to 'act' right.
Now mixed all four mixes, gave it a stir. Have to keep stirring to keep it together. Now wash & rinse. Doesn't feel right but is plenty sudsy. No explosion and skin is just fine.
Yawn.

I have but i mix different brands of shampoos that does the same thing. I would not mix a shampoo for dry hair with a shampoo for oily hair.

definite that is absloutely threat-free to blend shampoos mutually even if in the experience that they r no longer for th esame hair type! Shampoo can do no harm 2 ur hair in any way. I blend distinct shampoos togther n distinct conditioners togther each and each of the time, and my hair seems more suitable than it did when I purely used the only shampoo/conditioner! attempt it - the worst tht can take position is that ur hair will look a similar as primary (eg no progression) I wouldnt blend wierd smelling shampoos togther tho - u mite get rather some unusual seems!!! lol jks xxx

I do it all the time. On a daily basis I mix Suave Daily Clarifying with Sheer Blonde. I mix the conditioners, too. The end result? My hair smells like Sheer Blonde, which has a stronger scent than the Suave. On occasion, I add some VO5 Moisture Milks to the other two, like for special occasions when I want my hair to be extra silky, which makes my hair smell like VO5.

I do that with styling products but I'm not sure about shampoos. If manufacturers new they'd pull their hair out but I guess if you mix two shampoos that do about the same thing then that should be OK (the basic ingredients are the same anyway (preservatives, blah, blah)

Of course it is! What is this previous person talking about? Acids and bases? He's full of malarkey! Shampoo is basically all the same. They may have some different ingredients for fragrance or minor details like that, but their function is to clean hair. Mix as many as you want. Have fun with it!

I do it all the time. When I start to run out and there's just a little left in the bottom of the bottle, I'll mix it with what ever new product I've bought.
