There are many problems with the salvation-by works doctrine of reincarnation. First, there are many practical problems. For example:
1. We must ask, why does one get punished for something he or she cannot remember having done in a previous life?
2. If the purpose of karma is to rid humanity of its selfish desires, then why hasn't there been a noticeable improvement in human nature after all the millennia of reincarnations?
3. If reincarnation and the law of karma are so beneficial on a practical level, then how do advocates of this doctrine explain the immense and ever-worsening social and economic problems - including widespread poverty, starvation, disease, and horrible suffering - in India, where reincarnation has been systematically taught through out its history?
There are also many biblical problems with believing in reincarnation. For example, in 2 Corinthians 5:8 the apostle Paul states, "We are confident, I say, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord." At death, the, the Christian immediately goes into the presence of the Lord, not into another body. In keeping with this. Luke 16:19-31 tells us that unbelievers at death go to a place of suffering, not into another body.
Further, Hebrews 9:27 assures us that "man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment." Each human being LIVES ONCE as a mortal on earth, DIES ONCE, and then FACES JUDGMENT. He does not have a second chance by reincarnating into another body.

For me reincarnation does happen, though most people do not remember their past lives, only having a vague idea of some form of a inate feeling of familiarity with a time or place.
Obviously I cannot prove such a belief yet their does exists compelling evidence for the possibility of reincarnation.
Reincarnation was once shared by many faiths, including early Christianity (The Gnostic Christians, the early Celtic church), certain forms of Judaism (Kabbalah), Hinduism, Buddhism, Celtic Paganism (Druidry) and Jainism , so it seems to be a common root belief or even an common shared experience in humanity as a whole.
There are even cases which have been reported in the media, mostly from cultures which believe in reincarnation such as India.
I believe that it may be less of a stigma in such cultures to report or confess about memories from a past life, while in the west which has had its spiritual mindset controlled by orthodox Christans dogma of heaven, hell and ressurrection, such ideas are seen as heresy, whilst secular society that has been deeply infulenced by materialism, offers only ridicule to such a notion.
Though to some degree you do reincarnate through your childrens genes as we have inherited countless other peoples genes inwhich some are activated whilst others we only carry.
If personality is in our genes then to some degree we may be very similiar to a long dead ancestor.
How many times have people heard in their own families someone remarking how some sibiling was just like Great uncle or Great Aunt blog etc etc.
Now if you consider that our enviroment might have a part to play in varying our personalities to some degree, then in a small way we might develop in character differently, (Cause and effect) which then makes a person feel a complete separate individual.
Yet still we might carry a genetic blue print which has existed before but only surfaces as personality goes, the individual might not share the exact 80% say of physical attributes of any one of the past ancestors.
Yet we can even die from the same diseases as our predecessors, therefore in someways Reincarnation is a possiblity,
It just might be laballed under another name, described or understood by a different way of thinking (science).

First and foremost, NO FORGET IT!
In the New King James Version it is explained in Hebrews 9: 27. Only Jesus and the true believers will rise again. This is to live in Heaven forever and ever.
If you don't have a Bible, let me show you the exact verse, "And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment".
Reincarnation would go against this word, and the Bible is always right!
God Bless You

I certainly believe in reincarnation, but I believe that we choose to reincarnate or we can stay in the spirit world. If we wish to learn more about the physical plane then we reincarnate to another life and physical body.

I had some Reincarnation Instant Breakfast this morning.
All of a sudden, I took the form of a ferret, and started running around biting my family.
What should I do?

I like the idea of reincarnation, not sure if its true though.
Its like the De ja vous thing where you know you have been there before, when you havent.
I dont think anyone will know for certain what happens until there time comes.

no way! we have no reason at all to believe in reincarnation!
it is just a weird idea that someone started years ago and it has never taken any deep root because there is no way to justify the idea, where did it come from????? Why??

ahhhh, how we hope to avoid death. Afterlife, reincarnation, the eternal soul, heaven, hell, all examples of how the human ego cries out: "Not fair! I want to live!".
Sadly, this is what religions pray on.
But to answer your question: nope, not a chance.

YES. Many can not remember, but some can.
Little children will often tell you about past lives but parents usually tell them that its just their imagination. They do this because their parents told them the same thing.
Love and blessings Don
