I have a female boxer who is almost 9 and she had pullops (spell) in her uterus a long time ago and she was urinating with blood coming out of her. She had an operation where they scraped her uterus but there were so many pullops that they couldnt get all of them, but since then she has been on medication and she hasnt had any blood in her urine for the past 2 years, until this morning she had a little bit.......what do i do ? take her to the vet again ? wait it out until the ned of the week and see if it gets worse? is she too old for another operation?

Don't wait to get her to a vet. It's probably a simple urinary tract infection.Meds can clear a UTI quickly. A UTI left untreated will only get worse and cause great pain for your dog.

i could get her to a vet right this moment. I merely had to place my 8 12 months old boxer to sleep 2 days in the past. approximately 2 and a million/2 months in the past, she began having subject urinating and the vet gave us antibiotics, thinking it grow to be a urinary tract an infection. properly, the antibiotics did no longer help and he or she began bleeding whilst she urinated. So, we took her returned and that they did an X-ray which confirmed some thing close to her bladder. to verify they sent us to a expert who did an ultrasound that printed a great tumor close to the go out of her bladder. The vet in fact informed us there wasn't a lot shall we do interior the way of surgical operation or chemo as this variety of maximum cancers has a tendency to be very aggressive. She prescribed us meds that they use on human for arthritis. The effect it has on canine, is that it grow to be shown to shrink or sluggish the advance of tumors and act as a painkiller. With the medicine, we've been able to maintain her with us for little longer, till, this weekend, the main cancers have been given the better of her. I promised her from the initiating that i does no longer permit her go through so when I observed the look in her eyes, I knew it grow to be time to permit her go. i'm hoping that that's no longer the case with your boxer, yet I discovered that boxer's have a predisposition to particular varieties of maximum cancers. the faster you get her checked, the greater opportunities you have of saving or prolonging her existence.

Why is she not spayed? It might remedy the problem. At 9 she should not be bred anyway. I would talk to my vet and see if spaying would fix the problem once and for all. Boxers are prone to tumors that can be cancerous. Get advise from a professional immediately.

If she's otherwise in good health, why don't you have her spayed? Far better to have it done now while she's well than having to have it done as an emergency when she's really ill and more elderly
