my gf has cheated on me 4 times since we have been together. we have been together 5mo. i love her and dont want to leave her. it is hard with me not being there for her. she lives in ca. and i live in ny. what should i do about her cheating?

Read this very carefully! Leave her now! There is a reason why long distance relationships seldom work. Since there is a lot of distance between you two, you or her will be inclined to cheat since you never see each other in person on a regular basis. Find someone else. This time find someone near where you live so you can be with each other on a regular basis.
Look, I know this isn't something you want to hear. There is nothing you can do or say to prevent her from cheating. If she valued your love for her and reciprocated those feelings, then she would not be cheating on you. You now have slef-respect issues at hand. I am going to give you the BEST advice you will ever get in your entire life, and strangely enough you know exactly what I'm going to tell you already.
Drop her immediately, start the healing process, it takes about 3 months if you drop her, if she eventually drops you, it may take forever to recover-that's right your whole life could be miserable. You need to re-establish your manhood and self respect as fast as possible.
I would even suggest a revenge move, perhaps with a friend of hers, someone she is jealous of. Never take her back, believe she will come running back when you are over her. You can't do anything for her cheating but you can do something for yourself and that is decide if you really want and deserve a cheating partner. This behavior is unacceptable but it is tolerated because you might feel like you need her or love or or any of the other excuses you have to feel a void. A long distance relationship is not easy but it is not a outlet for cheating. Decide on what you want, then go for it.

What you should do its cut and run. I know it may seem easy for me to say that but people do it everyday. I left my sons father after 10 years for cheating. It is just too difficult to try to trust her being so far away, and if she has done it that often, chances are she isn't going to stop. What nmotivation does she have? It has got to get lonely for her to sit at home all the time becasue he man lives on the other side of the country.

It may be hard but everyone needs respect including you so try to let her go b/c she must not b too serious about yall realtionship as you are if she has cheated 4 tymes and yall only bn tagetha 5 months. You should try to find a new girlfriend that lives in your state. If she's that far away and admitingly cheating on you imagine if you guys lived close to eachother, she'd cheat and not tell you. Either way, it's not cool and you shouldn't want someone who cheats constantly.
I say dump her. It'll hurt but find someone else and you'll be fine. She doesn't seem worth it if she doesn't take the relationship seriously and honestly, that far away can you blame her?
