Most definitely. Isn't that great news!!! I have had several friends who continued to eat whatever they desired but in smaller portions. It worked for me as well. I lost about 30 pounds myself.

It all depends on what kind of cereal. Stray away from cereal filled with sugars. Go for something like Kellogs. For your sandwich, eat it on wheat bread, get miracle whip instead of mayo, get actual sliced meat, not that preserved stuff in packages. I'd also suggest staying away from the pizza, and the pasta (unless you get whole wheat and eat about a cup, and have some salad and/or chicken-turkey with it). There are a ton of healthier alternatives to what you are eating currently, you can go online and find thousands of healthy recipes. Working out never hurts either. If your intake really isnt that bad and you are eating moderate sized portions, then working out will definitely help you lose weight.

Yes and no. Eating more smaller portions a day works because it is constantly giving your body energy throughout the day. It gives your body a constant fuel source so you don't feel tired and restless towards the end of the day. That in turn helps you burn more calories throughout the day.
When you eat big meals only two or three or sometimes four times a day your body uses that quick energy and then after that it has nothing for up to eight hours in some cases. So instead of burning good fat (the fat that we hate to look at) your body thinks that you a starving yourself so it takes the other fat. The heathly fat that your body stores. That fat has more engery to burn and lasts longer. The other fat is more of a quick fat and if not used right alway usually gets stored in the "ugly" places.
so eating smaller protions hepls the whole cause but you have to be active and be exercising.
Exericse, over health and Diet are the three biggest factors to being healthly but your diet most of all.

Yes. If you decrease your intake even by 100 calories, you will lose weight in a steady manner. Concentrate on being healthy (and looking fabulous) and not on being thinner. Exersize will tone your body (so no immediate weightloss but quick results mirrorwise..) and healthy eating will make you lose kilo's. I always have a tea with sugar right after exersizing to avoid that " after-workout-binge-urge" .

Good luck.

Reading a book will take you hours but the information on a post, taking minutes to read, is not enough. The webpage below has just enough to know what you need to know. Links page has gov. I've lost 5 kilos in my first week. It's my 10th day and I have included salad with some protein (eg. egg/ lean chicken) as you suggested. After 4 years of trying, the fat is finally coming off. It truly feels like magic!

Get started today!

Yep! everything in moderation... so assuming what you normall eat isn't all fried foods or all sugar then you're probably fine. Just eat healthy, unhealthy foods every once in a while wont kill you, and exercise. Good luck!

Yes. But if you are eating high carb/calorie meals (fast food restaurants everyday), then it won't work. Watching your caloric intake and getting aerobic activity into your daily routine is the key.
