I agree with the first answer.

The key to losing weight is a healthy meal plan and an excercise regimen. Not eating is N E V E R good. Your body only starts to shut down when it realizes you are only giving it so many calories a day. Your metabolism will slow down to conserve energy and store fat. This will never work and when you do lose any weight it all comes back and then some because the body was deprived. It will hold onto fat and calories because its not sure when it will be fed again.

The best thing to do is cut out all the unhealthy foods and replace them with more fruits and vegetables, lots of protein and lots of water. Every now and then you can treat yourself to some ice cream, cake, cookies or whatever sweets it is that you like. But the key is not to have a whole slice or whatever the normal sized portion you would usually eat. You don't have to deprive yourself but you do have to CONTROL yourself.

Exercise, exercise, exercise. You would be surprised at how easy it can be when you start out small. Buy yourself a pedometer, they are very inexpensive and can be found at walmart. Aim to take at least 10,000 steps a day. Seems like alot but you can easily attain that goal during the course of a day. Park a little farther in the parking lot of a business or your job from the front door. Take the stairs versus the elevator. Start out 2-3 times a week walking around your neighborhood or at the park for at least 20-30 minutes. Over time you can gradually increase your exercise activity to include strength training.

Always remember to be encouraged and stay consistent. If you have a bad day with your eating or exercise, GET OVER IT. The next day is a new day and as long as you don't carry over what you did the previous day you will be fine. We all slip up but getting back on track is the key.

You can get in shape the natural way without these so called miracle diet pills, drinks and shakes. You can get in shape without hiring a personal trainer or joining a gym. You can also create your own home gym over time with small purchases. The internet has a wealth of resources to help you along your way.

Be Blessed!!!

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.

I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.

It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.

NO, ya fu**ing dots.
There is only one guaranteed way to lose weight, and is completely undisputed. Increas caloric use over intake. Either you eat no food, or you eat a regular amount 2000 calories and EXERCISE off 2500 total. -500 calories of energy have to come from somewhere, and its not from thin air, or from a calculator, but from energy rich fat.

DIets almost always fail, because you cant rely on a pill to do everything while you still laze around. It is the change in your metabolism that helps.

im looking for the same thing, but you can try a water diet. Drink 8-16 ounces of water befor every meal, it will allow you to eat less and get full faster, also reduce your calorie intake, if your normal diet is 2200 calories a day, cut it back to 1800 a day, and walk a lot. good luck..
