In the teletubbies show the narrator refers to tinky winky using he, him and his. Tinky Winky is a boy but he carries a purse...to add to it all “He is purple -- the gay-pride color; and his antenna is shaped like a triangle -- the gay-pride symbol. I don't know if he's gay but...Could be! :) Poor Dipsy! LOL
1.Tinky Winky (Boy) 2. Dipsy (Boy, Green) 3. Laa Laa (Girl, Yellow) 4. Po (Girl, Red).

Tinky-Winky is a boy. He carries a "magic bag" not a purse. Dipsy is also male. Laa-Laa is the girl. Though Po's gender IS unknown by the general population, most speculation points to Po being a female. This would promote the balance of two males and two females. Po is the smallest of the Teletubbies.

A boy. And yes, he carries a purse.
That isn't what bothers me about the show.
They don't even use words on it...I don't want my two year old running around the house making baby sounds...

In Philippines, we have also teletubbies... and they say tinki winkee is a gay. No kidding! I'm really serious...

Why does it matter ??---they are just a bunch of kids pretending everything.
The whole gay debate about these characters is ridiculous!

I can't tell what any of their genders are, I always considered the Teletubbies to all be androgynous.
