I don't think we should have been involved in Iraq . But we are involved. I think U.S actions are the best that we could have been expected. Remember Iraq is a nation that does not believe in the separation of church and state.
For a democratic Iraq to survive the Iraqi people need to embrace that concept. The U,S did a great job in toppling Sudden Hessian regime.
Now the U,S faces the dilemma of being caught in midst of a civil war. If America want to produce a democratic Iraq then America needs to be willing to sacrifice many more of our soldiers to do so, and even then they need the Iraqi people to rise up and seek there own government.
Is Iraq ready to embrace the division of church and state.
I dont think so.

We're not doing enough to end it, plus we're not following the money trail which should also be stopped! The US has all the military might to blow any country off the map in a matter of days, yet it continues to fight these silly little skirmishes on the enemies terms, putting it's own soldiers at risk of loss of life and limb every day. I don't find this acceptable as an American and as a parent!
The money trail leads to Tehran. These people should be given one week to withdraw their influence from Iraq, if they don't do so, the first thing we should do is take out their nuclear facility. If they choose to retaliate then we throw the kitchen sink at them too. WE don't need a big army to handle this effort. Much of this can be handled with stealth air power and unmanned missiles. Even their anti defense capabilities would be vulnerable to this kind of attack.
Iraq will quiet down in a hurry, if we just showed the rest of these people that we have the stones to meet them with this kind of fury!

A CONTINUATION OF THEIR PLAN IN IRAQ CALLED "THE THIRD PHASE ACTION"
First Phase Action is to make Iraqi people disunited.
Second Phase Action is to not to interfer in such trials for the successful mission of the First Phase Action.
Third Phase Action is to regulate Iraq including human and natural resources as per the First and Second Phase Actions has been successful, accordingly.

It is perfectly alright because it was needed to control dictatorship. At the same time it is like message to world to accept america's decision. So it should be taken as a warning signal by India and build up a powerful defence for right time.As for now we have no danger but who knows the future?

I agree with anything that our government can do to keep American's safe.
I know that soldiers are being pulled away from their families, and some have lost their lives - however, the overall picture is the military is doing what is right for our country. I have to say that the President and his Cabinent have a vast amount of information that the average citizen is not privvy to!
The soldiers - who are stationed in Iraq - know that they are fighting for what is right! They are helping protect a group of people that's own government has been convicted of killing, maming and overall torturing them (By there own people - America was not involved with these convictions).
The soldiers are fighting to keep peace in areas where so many countries have turned and simply walked (let me rephrase that - RUN) away!
I am proud of each and every service man or woman that is a part of such a noble and UNselfish profession!
To all of the American Troops around the world - THANKS FOR A JOB WELL DONE!

It is an utter failure.
Nothing gained and the US is now staggering under a world record debt. This debt will still be being paid off by our great grandchildren.
Bush should be tried for treason for what he's done.
Though he'll be very well off due to the fact that he owns stock in companies that have profited from this "war"...

i believe being over there is the right thing and were helping the Iraqis, the troops over there say that they need to be there not with there families even though it is nice its there duty, its what they signed up for, and they also say that the Iraqis like them over there and they feel safer because they arnt afraid of osama or Saddam blowing there heads off(even though we dont know where osama is and he wont come out of hiding until were gone.

I think they have proven the exceptional quality of our military training. they are heroes and patriots of the greatest kind. It is too bad their mission has been stumped by congress and a liberal media. I hate it that so many lives have been given and now the lilly livered ignorants in this country would have us pull out and run. They really don't understand war or history. Bless their hearts. they don't want to understand. they just want to hide and pretend everything is fine.

criminal. from what my iraqi christian friends tell me, now that americans have come, they don't feel safe anymore to goto church, or celebrate holidays, they tell me over 50% of the teachers in iraq used to be females, but then the americans showed up. eventually america will pull out, the peoples resistance will win because they have the backing of average joe, unlike the occupiers. face it no one likes occupation
