i live in the southeast , i want to buy an ambulance direct from the authorities if possible . i have looked on ebay and cannot get any joy from b.c.a. auction site . ideally i want the iveco daily chassis one. about 6 years old .

there is an aution place in south wales, think in merthyr tydfil, twice a week and have loads of them there to buy.... have a look on google for auction house there, they may have a web site...

The sort of vehicle you are looking for, an ambulance, is much more likely to be available from government websites [UK.gov] which sell off government equipment usually of the military kind - Land-rovers, tanks, ambulances etc. Note that these vehicles are all of a military type and may not be suited to your needs. You could try contacting your local ambulance [NHS] website and see what they do with their ambulances when their sell-by date arrives.

You can look on car auctions, i've seen them in these where I live. You cant buy them with the sirens etc still attached though, the ambulance service are not stupid. Their made by mercedes and most people convert them into holiday homes like a caravan.

if you take another look on ebay in the motor home section i noticed a bloke selling used ambulances which could be converted into moter homes
