A single woman needs to be very careful and diligent and follow Paul's advice to Timothy - avoid the mere appearance of impropriety.

I would really ask you to read the book "Every Woman's Battle," in it she goes into detail about this subject and I think you would find it really helpful.

Remember too that love is an ACT, not a feeling, it is something we DO for each other. God bless!

I'm a very friendly person and I've been misunderstood many times. Here are a few scriptures that I studied to help me. I certainly hope they help you. But since we are in the flesh realm, male and female are here. The devil feast on the lust of the flesh and ideas of the mind. You must be bold and up front with these people letting them know that you are an ambassador for Christ and you come in His name. Besides you are working to put on the mind of Christ.
Rom 7:25 I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.
Jam 4:7 ¶ "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."
Rom 14:16 "Let not then your good be evil spoken of."
1Cr 14:40 "Let all things be done decently and in order."
The devil hates us to quote scriptures to him but with the words "it is written Satan, resist the devil and he will flee." Dig your heels into the Words of God, fast and pray. Satan hates this! If you need anymore Word go to Gal. 5:19-23 and read about the fruits of the Spirit and works of the flesh. God bless and you will remain in my prayers.

I think for a young woman that is a problem and requires much wisdom to know how to deal with it. The problem really arises from the "dating system" that we have created in the western world in the last 150 years. Ask your two fathers for guidance. Your Father in heaven and your father on earth. Your father on earth cares more for you than any other man and will understand where men are "coming from". Avoid encounters with young men alone, and function with groups of mixed people. Be truthful to any men about your views and inentions, don't lead them on. Don't get into any type of "counselling" with a young man. Either him counselling you, or you him. Always refer him to the one he is under authority to. Parents, church leaders etc. When you mention hurting people, be careful, men will come to you for comfort for their hurts, but you are not the one who God has given for them to receive comfort. Sorry for babbling on here, but as a father and a grandfather I feel for your situaton and want God's best for you. I know how much hurt can come from these things.

The answ is that you would first marry within the christian congregation (fellow believers), In the Greek there are different names for the different type of love. To avoid hurting people, be honest up front.

The Savior (His name is YAHOSHUA) loves us. Only He can lift us out of sin so we can enjoy the perfection of the world made new, and very good. There are many lies that the adversary has sold to the world. The truth is in Scriptures, not churchianity, but YHVH has promised to be there for all who seek Him.

Jesus loves us but He is not in love with us,we are weak creatures and the temptation of the flesh is always before us,we have to be on our guard at all times as the devil can get in and mix things up by sexual suggestions.
