Do you mean that you sleep right through the alarm clock? If that's the case, I have no clue, because the damn things annoy me awake...my problem is that after I'm annoyed awake I then hit the snooze and go back to sleep. One thing you may want to search for, because apparently they are not the easiest thing to find, are these alarm clocks that gradually start to light up about a half hour before your alarm starts to go off...they get brighter and then start flashing...it's a less violent way to wake up. And if you are having difficulty waking up, you may want to try going to bed earlier...I know, it's difficult for me, but it's an option.

I have found that I must get at least 5 hours of sleep to wake up to my alarm clock. Find your minimum and use it.

There are also vibrating alarm clocks that go under your pillow.

I set 5 cell phone alarms, 1 alarm clock, 1 tv alarm, then I cuff myself to my dresser so I can't turn them off easily while i'm still sleepy. Thats when I really have to get up in the morning with minimal sleep

You need to Condition the Body to wake at a certain time every morning!
Look at the Clock before you sleep and say to yourself what time you want to wake up!(i.e 5,6 or 7am)
Do this for a few weeks ,and before you know it you will be rising at the time you specified or before!
Worked great for me!

*Use your alarm clock as a Back-up ,just till your body gets used to it's new regime*

Try a serotonin reuptake inhibitor like lexapro and if you take it every morning at the same time your bodies internal clock will wake you up on its own. Melatonin turns into serotonin in the morning when the sun comes up normaly but if you supplement your serotonin again it will adjust your internal clock to wake you up without a alarm although it may still necessary but it will be alot easier to get up.

There is a "trick" i heard about although i haven't tried it...
They say, get a glass of water and put it beside your bed. Just before you go to sleep drink half the water and say to yourself i'm going to wake-up that time (i.e. 8:00) and drink the other half!
Having a motive to wake up makes your brain think it HAS to wake you up at that time...I've also noticed that whenever i go to bed worried that i won't wake up on time, I always wake up 2-3 mins before my alarm clock goes off...it's really weird!

Don't you have a cellphone? If yes, doesn't your cellphone have alarm clock? If you don't have a cellphone, sometimes a TV has alarm clock, check the manual of your TV .

Getting enough sleep is probably the best assurance that one will wake up at the same time each day. It helps if you sleep at the same time each night as you can then let your body adapt to the number of hours needed. You will find it easier to wake up on time each morning.

There's a wake up call service through the telephone. Call up information and inquire about the service; I have used it several times, it works 100%.
