we have a puppy born in Nov. we have taken him to the vet and he still has the problem. He sounds real congested and throws up alot of mukus or something like it. The breeder keeps telling us there is nothing wrong with him. Can you help us. We don't want to keep him if it is something serious.

Take him back to the vet & ask exactly what the problem is. If he's going to have problems in the future, get a statement from the vet stating that & then go back to the breeder. If you bought from a reputable knowledgable breeder, I'm sure they will be perfectly willing to take the puppy back if you're not happy with him.

BDs always sound kind of congested. Brachiocephalic dogs, like BDs, Pugs, Bostons, and Pekes usually do, they have a very short nasal passage.

What did the Vet say? Did she find anything wrong with him? Is the breeder a good show breeder who knows what she is talking about?
