It is very essensitial to detoxify your body before starting a diet. It will help you feel better and you'll notice an increase in energy.

I think you only have to detox, for things like recovering form drug abuse and when you have a intestinal infection or something major like that, but I dont think it is essential. Remember that a detox is needed when your body has been through or going through a huge change or stress, but also keep in mind that a detox is also a very stressful thing for your body, so I would be careful.Speak to your doctor and ask him what these symptoms are and what can be done to minimise or clear out these symptoms and if a detox is needed.

You do it right, you only need to do it once. And if you think you need to detox, just quit whatever drugs and/or alcohol you have been doing, stay with a sober friend (someone in a 12-step program will be the best help), and go cold turkey.

If the thought scares you too much, or if you don't have any family and friends who can be relied upon to see you through it, then go to a hospital ER and say, "I need help." If you have to go alone, that's the place to go.

But what the family and friends are for is to monitor your condition and decide when it is necessary to take you to the ER. The reason for that is that if you don't know how addicted you are, you don't know how bad detox is going to be. Some people just get a case of the flue, in effect, as their bodies struggle to readjust. A few days of really sick, a few of feeling fragile, and you can regain control over your life.

But trust me, it's not just for a posh diet. It's for people to keep you determined to fight the demon that possesses you. And at times, to guard you from his attempts to suck your will right out of you and battle against your protectors.

Make no mistake, much of what demonology is about is drug-induced, one way or another. Drugs, especially opium and its derivatives, have been around for centuries. They are addicting in part because of their effects on creative forces, which Art has transmitted to us. The artists are the tragic champions of communications from hell, and need to be respected as such.

Detox isn't necessary in that sense, and it most definitely is not a diet. You can start with one "vegetable juice day" a week, or simply pick a day where you consume nothing but raw fruits, veggies, vegetarian broth and plenty of water. This kind of plan will have better long term effects for your system in addition to convenience. A fast should not be done w/out lots of research, planning, and the help of a professional.
Looking at your symptoms, I wouldn't rule out a food allergy.
