yeah, subway would be best for nutrition. But there's something to be said for that "special" greasy taste of the double cheeseburger and those indestructible hot french fries of Micky D's

Some areas have health codes against it, which is why you can't bring in a cake for birthdays (even if you're willing to pay a cutting/serving fee) and the restaurant doesn't serve cakes. When I was in high school, my bf's grandma used to bring hot chilies in her pocket to put in whatever she ordered, but she wasn't bringing in a whole meal. I'm sure you can find something to eat at the restaurant. If you told us what kind of food the restaurant serves, we could probably figure something for you to eat. I'm saying this as the mom of a preemie who really didn't eat until about 5, and as a teen he is still extremely picky. (He doesn't even like McD's.) Most restaurants will have bread and cheese, and a grilled cheese from there is probably better than a grilled cheese from McD's (One of the only things I could get my son to eat at McD's, cheese on a bun.) If you eat McNuggets, then there will be a chicken dish you can order with sauce or whatever it's served with on the side. Baked or some other potato dish instead of fries. But really, maybe you'll like someone from the menu. Try! See if the restaurant has a menu online so you can figure out in advance what you might want to eat. Come on now, be adventurous, order food from the restaurant you're going to!
