While some say skip a meal, I say eat more meals, BUT small portions, and don't eat the wrong stuff. By keeping a small but steady intake of food your body does not go into storage mode, but rather uses the fuel supplied as it's consumed.
As for changing your eating habits, that's an exercise of the mind. I love junk food too. However, when at the store I see something I want but know I shouldn't, I refuse myself. It takes determination, and setting a goal, along with checking your progress daily (best time is in the morning, before you dress) will work best.
Also, 75 pounds is a large goal. While I'd say "Keep that goal", I would also recommend stepping stone goals, for instance; I want to loose 5 pounds this week, then work for it. As each goal falls, the more unreachable goal grows ever closer, and along with each success comes greater determination and dedication to achieving your ultimate goal.
Don't forget to keep active. Walks, bike rides, aerobic exercises, whatever you can do to increase your physical activity. And not just more casual exercise, but something that pushes your body to work harder.
Always take everything easy at first, and don't jump into a full tilt effort. It will take time for your body to be able to do new tasks asked of it, so don't hurt yourself by overdoing it the first day.
Good Luck.

I'd suggest spreading out your meals throughout the day. Like 6 small meals instead of 3 big ones. That way, you will feel like you're always eating, and it will keep your metabolism up.. but the meals will be small so you won't exceed calorie limitations. I'd suggest 300-350 calorie meals every 2 or so hours. Also, you need to exercise. Thats the fact of life.. exercise and lower calories = weight loss. Good luck, and stay motivated! =]

You start a diet by decreasing your caloric intake, eatting 4-5 small meals instead of 3 large meals, and by decreasing your sugar intake. Finally, you have to get active. If that consists of taking a walk everyday after dinner, that's great.
