yes i do know because he told my friend everything and she told me that the only reason why he was asking me is because he feels sorry for not dancing with me on the last dance.

I say go to the dance with him, you like him after all. Sure it's annoying that he didn't dance with you at the last dance, but maybe he wants to make up for it - remember he's not just asking you for a dance, but actually wants to TAKE YOU! Make yourself look fantastic, and have a great time.

No guy asks a girl just cause he feels sorry for her. Guys aren't that altruistic!
Only two possible scenarios:
1) He likes you, but doesn't want you to know it because he's into games and feeling superior.
2) He wants to use you and move on.
Either possibility is not cool. I say to go to the dance with someone else, or you tell him you have plans that night and not go at all. That will make him want you more, which may or may not be what you'd like happen.
Good luck.

Did you know that he asked you to the dance because he felt sorry for you before you agreed to go with him? If so then no you should not be mad. But if you found out AFTER you said yes then yes you should be mad. It's humiliating for someone to do something for you like that out of pitty.

How do you know why he’s asking you out. Could it be that maybe he was too shy to dance with you at the last dance and only now he’s gathered up enough courage to ask? I really would like to know how you came to this conclusion before I tell you whether it’s ok or not to fume.

Go with him anyways. But if you arent having fun, start dancing with other people. Your reason could then be "I only went to the dance with you because I needed a ride".

Yes you should have a little resentment towards him for doing so, but in the long term maybe he has realized his mistake and is now trying to fix it. Give the guy a chance and see what happens, but in the back of your head remember that he started doing this out of sympathy (pitty dance lol) See how it goes...keep me posted! lol

No u shudn't,instead u should acknowledge his efforts .He's considerate and u shouldn't regard him as someone who felt pity for u.and for all u know he has started liking you.And even if he hasn't just say yes to him and enjoy and make him enjoy too.
Bottomline=u shudnt b mad!
