Not only does the early bird catch the worm; but it can also be seen that the late bird catches one too. In society there are oppressors (being the birds) and the oppressed (being the worm). So that almost no matter what instance is had, those who are more powerful in society with a higher social status will have a higher chance of achieving what they want and what they desire, such as the worm; thus giving the bird an opportunity to be fed and grow stronger while we the middle and lower class 'worms' of society struggle just to make it to the next day without being swallowed up.

...but also as motivation for you to be persistent and shoot for your goals and dreams!!!

Intersting point, those 2 sayings contradict eachother. I agree with The Early Birf Catches The Worm. If you want something, you need to get up off ur a** and go for it.

many things applies for many different situations.
Unless u tell wat sort of situation.
Early bird gets the worm is to encourage someone to do things as soon as possible as not to miss apportunity and if that doesnt work then comes. good things come to those to wait which encourages someone to perservere and be strong in many things.
