WE get it all the time in rescue. The little breeds get the big girls when they want too. Hopefully your female is saying NO and your male is unintersted!! Keep the female confined don't breed!!!

If your not talking about a large difference - a pillow for male to stand on - if it is much difference - wow, those would be some weird lookin dogs! LOL
Usually a female that is really ready will help the male out a lil when he tries to mount ...

The real question is why would you do that? Are you breeding one specific breed or do you just want some puppies? You should have your pets spayed and neutered. There are so many unwanted animals that are put to death every week. Have you thought about what will become of the puppies? So many people are letting dogs of different breeds mate and then trying to sell the puppies, i.e. labradoodles, etc.. It is very sad not to mention irresponsible. Get real.

You've got to be kidding. You have some misplaced compassion. There is a reason short dogs can't mate with larger females. Nature is aghast.

Must people who discourage others to not breed and pay your vet all kinds of fees to do testing is NONSENSE!!! If you own a dog and wanna breed her, screw all these naysayers and do what you want. Must of the naysayers are breeders themselves and come on these posts discouraging the COMPETITION and just want to keep the breeding monopoly for themselves
