Try hard and think...what is it that you and your BF like to do most when you're out together [besides getting "french" - =) LOL], try and get something that can relate to or be a part of something that the two of you do together when you're out with friends or a out alone...since this only your first year...don't go with anything paper; like they traditionally do for a wedded couple's 1st anniversary. I think if you think of something that relates with the TWO of you, and if its practical, he'll really enjoy it. Good luck!

After a year of being together I'm sure that you know your boyfriends likes and dislikes. If he is a jewelry person then buy him a nice watch or a man's necklace or ring. If he is a person that is a really nice dresser then buy him a very nice outfit. Think about it I'm sure you already knows what he likes.

Go to the mall and get him a personalized gift. such as a piece of jewelry or even something to remind him of your first date

i would just recommend you guys go somewhere. take him some place that you guys rarely go to. my opinion is that memories are better that objects. but i am only one person and this is soo general, so i found you a site of some peoples ideas for anniversaries :) enjoy

do something romantic for him like take him sonwhere special or buy him something like if hes alwys late buy him a watch or somethin be creative
