crap!!u dnt hav to feel ashamed..u smile coz u r happy within n wuld luv to share it wit others..so itz immaterial whether te guy smiles or not.mayb he is havin a bad day or jus forgot how to smile..u dnt hav to bother abt neone replyin to it..u smile n dnt feel ashamed!!

No she should not feel ashamed. She should just move on there is no reason for anyone to feel that way about offering a smile because everyone should try to make another person smile at least once a day.

yes if she was giving him a come on smile, but if not, a smile is just a smile, so smile at every thing. Most polite Americans even say hello with a small smile to any human being they see.

yes, bcoz generally guls dont smile at boys unless they are frndz............for that matter enybody feels bad, if u dont return to their greeting.
