I wouldn't take any notice of a self opinionated, two faced busybody like that He needs to get a life of his own beyond work then he wouldn't need to be dissecting other people's. Just for the record, I think you're a highly productive individual, and you're set to go far if you keep it up. Good Luck!!

Honestly, since i'm currently unemployed its hard to turn a deaf ear to such comments especially when you are quite helpless but nevertheless whatever that doesn't kill you only makes you stronger. He or she are not in our shoes so they can just "FFK" for all i care.

My views
The bloke = blog?? is a mode of communication and need not be generalised as a "dating site where unemployed layabouts" unless that's all they think communication is all about. I would not denied that some people do since they really have nothing better to do.

We can learn a lot of things by reading and getting ideas while sharing knowledge on the net. However, this is only possible if the information in it is reliable which more often than not the case. Surely, we need to exercise judgement on what is good and what is not so blocking certain sites is really necessary if you have childrens around especially.

Don't be deceived by nice talks by sweet talkers in the net. Just use it for educational or information purposes. I still like paper base for a variety of reasons but we can always hear what others have to say about something should there really be a need for it otherwise we are fine on our own.

Relax and turn a deft ear for a man can only do what he can and not what others wants him to do unless if it is sensible!!

I would feel really glad that I found out what a jerk he was before I invested anymore time or effort into getting to know him.
You have a right to be hurt yes - but seriously hun - wouldnt it be worse if you only found out what a fool he was a few months down the line when you'd be emotionally attached!
xx

Thats his opinion and he's welcome to it... its a question you have to ask yourself, do YOU think your an unemployed layabout?

For the question to have hurt either means 1 of 2 things...

You liked him and you feel hurt for the insult.

You liked him and you feel hurt because his insult bears some truth.

Only you can answer this question... not us.

I wouldn't care, because i'm employed in manual labour.

On the up side, at least you found out he's a jerk before you got too involved with him.

I think there are many unemployed layabouts, but you're not one of them.

You think that's bad. I couldn't get a job and my mother told me I was 'a dog feeding off my dad's money'. Then she told me I wasn't a real man and I had wasted my money and time on a degree and a masters when I wasn't fit for anything.

You don't want a man who is looking for a woman to support HIM...that is the LAST thing you need with working and raising kids....You don't need another kid (HIM)....Consider the source...He is ignorant. You are doing the best you can.

Better to know, now than later. You can do better than that waste of space.
Keep trying, you're bound to find someone.

Book it down to experience and move on.
