We just had the local credit union hacked into, and I can't count the number of other businesses that have been hacked lately. The future is now. It's time that a special department was incorporated into local police to deal with this. It won't go away, and it's just going to get worse.

yes it is but I don't believe government realizes how internet crime has overwhelmed police so they haven't provided the positions or training to aid police in adequately addressing the problem.

NO. It is already illegal to hack a credit union computer. This is the WORLDWIDE WEB and local police have no business trying to run some half arsed unit to control something that is worldwide. If there are complaints or broken laws they should investigate but why pay for something that is unnecessary? They wouldn't stop any crimes but sure would sit around all day reading our e-mails while eating donuts.

Not really. We have way too much government as it is and our freedoms are rapidly diminishing. I work for a huge brokerage that is totally secure; we spend lots to keep our site secure. We don't need the government creating new rules to slow down business and damage our economy
