perhaps you have had alcohol poisoning in the past. Sometimes drinking so much that you become very ill will affect you in the future even if you just drink a little bit. If you have become very ill from drinking too much in the last year, I'd quit drinking altogether for a while and give your body some time to heal.

Your body is talking to you.
I never could drink anything, even at 21, w/out getting violently ill.
There's a condition called Candidiasis that happens to your gut when you have a yeast overgrowth. Certain things aggravate this condition, such as sugar, alcohol, antibiotics, steroids and birth control pills. It can make you very, very ill. I'd stop alcohol consumption all together and get to your Doctor, if I were you. Liver damage isn't funny; ask any transplant patient.

I think you could be allergic to alcohol. I know it sounds fishy but you can be allergic to alcohol. If you have any other reaction to it like, Hive, Rash, or stomach issues I would consider yourself allergic. If this is limited to beer you may have issues with the hops or yeast used to brew the beer. Good luck!!

your body may be building up a resistance to the alcohol. i have a friend who can't drink anything or he will be drunk for days. something about enzymes and not breaking down the alcohol properly. maybe it is something like that. or maybe you are just getting older. the body can't take alcohol like it used to as you age. i work with people who say the same thing you are saying.

It's a sign to quit drinking. You're getting old and you can't handle the alcohol like you used to...

Its not the beer, it is the half gallon of whiskey that you drink with the beer.
