Wow, as I scroll through all these thoughtful replies I have to ask myself "Who says Christians are judgemental?"

i don't understand what the subject is. If the youngster is analyzing quietly and isn't any longer annoying every person, there should not be a concern. it is "loose" analyzing time in spite of each and every thing. The boy must be allowed to study his bible if all the different toddlers additionally are allowed to elect their very own books. As an atheist, i can not say that i admire the assumption of any new child analyzing the bible, yet legally talking, he ought to have that top as long as his determine/dad and mom are happy with it, and it seems which you're. i do no longer see it as disrespectful till he's attempting to convice others to connect his church or too convince them of the legitability of the bible for the period of type time. in my view, religious discussions are no longer suitable for the period of faculty as they might reason disruptions. on a similar time, I purely can not see any 8 365 days previous doing that. So i don't get what the teachers concern is with it. I doubt you will be able to desire to sue for the bible concern, yet for the crying concern (emotional rigidity), maybe, reckoning on what precisely she reported or did. for my area, i could've chewed the instructor a clean hollow if that became my boy, yet it is purely me.

I'm same-sex married, and I've read it.

I do respect what they're trying to do. It's an interesting book, but the arguments aren't overly compelling...there is a lot of speculation. It's good for anyone who is trying to reconcile religious faith with their own sexuality, but as for me, I became an Atheist. I just couldn't sustain interest in the different ways the Bible could be interpreted...it just isn't a source of anything for me...not encouragement, not information, not comfort.

Incidentally, it was written by two gay men. Jeff Miner is married to David Zier and J.T. Connoley is married to Rob Connoley. It isn't "Xian hate literature"...it is the opposite.

Actually I have no intention of reading the book. Reexamining the Bible simply means How can we get around what God has clearly said. The Bible is not confusing on the subject, it is very cear. It is not misinformation that is the issue it is a refusal to accept what information God has given.

The Holy Bible is the ONLY true inspired word of God. Galatians, 2 Peter, and Romans all clearly state How GOD feel about Homosexuality. It is a sin. Words of man in no way compare to the WORD OF GOD!
Galatians 5:19-23
2Peter 1:5-9
Romans 1:22-32

BTW the word REVEREND is used only ONE TIME in GODS word and it refers to HIM.

The "children" are not free; Not according to the Bible.
Children notably differ nothing from Servants(Slaves).
The higher exhortation is: "be no more children": Eph 4
http://www.godshew.org/GodShew.htm#nomorechildren
The higher exhortation: "thou art no more a servant": Gal 4
http://www.godshew.org/AboveAServant.htm

Jerusalem below is in BONDAGE with her "children".
Jerusalem which is above is FREE: mother of "us" all.
Galatians 4: "allegory": allegoric comparison of law & grace.

Children notably get tossed to<->fro by the law<->law.
Adults ("man" kind) put away their childish things: laws.
As is noted by Paul The Apostle to childish Corinthians.

Children: Grow Up... Grow in Grace (Converted Peter).

The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

Notice all the Christian responses : "OH, NO, I CAN'T READ ANOTHER BOOK BESIDES THE BIBLE, PRAISE JEBUS!!!"

You Christians are a joke.

Reexamine? You mean "Re-interpret" the bible so is says what you want it to! No thanks! I'll stick to God's TRUTH. You deal with your motives on your own.

And to "Curious" - YOU'RE the Joke!
