US/29/F

My hubby is Korean and his mom makes something that I love. It is a spicy pork dish with springs onions and carrots. I eat it with rice and this smooth egg dish. She calls it taegi bulgogi, I don't know how to spell it. I also like yaki mandu, again I don't know the spelling.

I do not like kimchi, it smells and I hate vinegar. Also, she made this soup once that would have been great if it were served hot...but is was cold broth with noodles and cucumbers.

There is something she makes with squid that smells really good, but I do not care for tentacles.

1. Northern Midwest U.S. /23/Female
2. Yes. My boyfriend's mom is Korean and she is a great cook (American and Korean food).
3. Yes.
4. Kimchi. And there is this marinated pork dish that I love. I don't know the name of it but the marinade is soy sauce, sugar, wine, red pepper paste, ginger, garlic, green onion. So good!

I read a fiction book that describes Korean food in great detail and would love to try more of it. Def. need to go to a Korean restaurant.
