Binary code. With binary code, it is possible to store numbers, letters, all kinds of things with simply "on and off" switches in circuitry. Binary code makes "digital" possible. By making all the rest of the digital world possible, I say binary code has changed the world forever. It's almost like the invention of fire or the wheel. Without fire and the wheel, we wouldn't have cars. Without binary code, we wouldn't have computers and a million other things that run on digital principles and technology.
